Bouncing Balls
Heavy Ball, Light Ball, Ball bounce across, Squash and Stretch.
At first, I thought Maya was going to be a really difficult and confusing program to get to grips with, however as I started to get more and more training and I did more experimenting, I found that it was easier and much more fun than I thought. I think on this first part I did okay, but I realise that looking back on these weeks that my ball tests weren't that great. I plan to work much more on my spacing and timing. I found animating on top of the vid reference really helpful.

Ball and Tail
Ball and Tail going up steps.
This was actually a really difficult piece when I was planning it. I think I over complicated the amount of keyframes and muddled myself up, hence I cut down my piece and even changed a few things from my initial storyboard. However, I got the hang of it in the end as I added the squashes and stretches. I wish the rig did have extra squash rigs so I could squash the ball a bit more on point as it hit the side of the steps. (Cont. in link below)

Animo
Animo walk cycle, Animo walk cycle across.
The walk cycle part of the term was actually the most enjoyable. Especially doing the digital tutorials rig and getting to manipulate all of its handles. I thought the actual tutorial would be daunting and hard, but as I was doing it, I learnt a lot of different techniques and tidbits to help me animate in the future. (Cont. in link below)

Summative Submission Monday
My ball layer wasn't on when I rendered the long part... which was annoying.
